Berlin Heart appoints Dr. Dirk Lauscher as Chief Operating Officer
Berlin, 01 October 2008. Berlin Heart appoints Dr. Dirk Lauscher as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. Dr. Lauscher will manage the company together with Dr. Johannes Mueller, the company’s long-standing Chief Scientific Officer and General Manager.
Dr. Lauscher, who earned a PhD in chemistry, will from now on take over responsibility for production, quality management and operations. He has long-standing experience working in leading positions in international companies in Germany and abroad.
Dr. Lauscher on his appointment as COO: “Berlin Heart is looking back on a period of strong growth, demand for the products is very high. I am confident that with my long-standing experience especially in chemical development we will be able to design more efficient production processes and increase the production capacities.”
