The basis of our EXCOR® Pediatric cannulas is pure medical silicon. This high quality material guarantees maximum biocompatibility with nearly unlimited durability. In order to achieve the best possible adaption to anatomic relation we offer cannulas with different diameters, lengths, angles and head shapes. Some of the arterial or rather atrial cannuals are sometimes equipped with an enforced shape-giving wire.

The specially equipped seam made of polyester velour enable a quick and safe anastomosis. All EXCOR® cannulas are coated with polyester velour in the middle part to promote good ingrowth of the cannula. The tips of the atrial and arterial cannulas are extremely soft in order to avoid injury of the sensitive tissue.
