With our solid position in the market, we will continue on our course of worldwide expansion based on innovative products, while relying on strategic international partnerships. Pivotal to such an expansion are our strategic partnerships with three of the world's leading heart centers: the German Heart Institute in Berlin, the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada  and the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.

We are represented in the US by our wholly owned subsidiary Berlin Heart Inc., which was founded in October 2005. Berlin Heart Inc. provides support for implanting centers in the US, Canada, and Mexico. EXCOR® Pediatric is intended to provide mechanical circulatory support as a bridge to cardiac transplantation for pediatric patients. Pediatric candidates with severe isolated left ventricular or biventricular dysfunction who are candidates for cardiac transplant and require circulatory support may be treated using the EXCOR® Pediatric.
